Edna Marie Morrow of Annapolis, Missouri passed away June 20, 2023 at Country Meadows Nursing Home in Park Hills, Missouri. She was 93 years old. She was born November 6, 1929 in Rockport, Indiana the daughter of the late George Clarence Hornbostel and Willie Venus McQuary. Edna was married to Alfred Morrow and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2006. Edna is survived by her daughter, Joyce Britton of Cadiz, Kentucky, her nephew, Patrick Morrow of Park Hills, Missouri, and two nieces: Sandra McQuary of Farmington and Donna Dettmer of Park Hills, Missouri. Edna considered her nephew and nieces as her own. She is also survived by her sister; Florence McQuary of Park Hills, one brother; Clarence “Hank” McQuary of Tennessee, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Jackie, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Edna was preceded in death by her niece, Penny Morrow, her brothers: James McQuary, George McQuary, William McQuary, Roy Holschen, and Harold Holschen, her stepsister, Evelyn Dean and one great granddaughter. Edna worked as a medical technician at Koch Hospital in St. Louis for eighteen years. She enjoyed working word puzzles and taking care of her cats and her dog. She was a homebody and lived at home until just a few months ago. She attended Annapolis First Baptist Church and when she was able, she helped with vacation Bible school. She loved being with the children at church. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Huff Cemetery. Pastor Dan Pitchers will be officiating.
