Mr. Edward Lee "Ed" Rickus, of Doniphan, MO., formerly of Farmington, passed away Oct. 10, 2008, at Poplar Bluff Regional Med. Ctr., Poplar Bluff, MO., at the age of 65 years, 6 months & 15 days. Ed was born March 25, 1943, in Farmington, to the late W. M. "Bus" Rickus (June 28, 2001) & Marie Kennedy 'Counts' Rickus (Jan. 27, 2008).

Ed was a member of: Doniphan 1st Baptist Church; Missouri State Teachers Assoc.; Doniphan Community Teachers Assoc.; member & Past President of Doniphan Retired Teachers Assoc. Member, Poplar Bluff Elks Lodge. Ed was a Graduate & Alumni of Ark. State Univ., where he was a member of ASU Letterman's Club & TEK Fraternity. Ed was united in marriage to Roselea Moore on Jan. 23, 1965, in Farmington. Ed was a retired Science & Biology Teacher, Driver's Education Instructor & High School Coach at Doniphan. He announced the Doniphan Dons & Donnettes basketball & baseball games for 23 years for Fox Country Radio. He also enjoyed golfing, woodworking, Christmas decorating & football games.

Survivors include: his wife, Roselea 'Moore' Rickus, of Doniphan. Daughter, Debbie 'Mrs. Anthony' Robertson, Sr., of Hernando, Mississippi. Son, Jimmy "BoBo" Rickus, of Doniphan. Two Brothers, Don Rickus, of New Port Richey, Florida & Wendell "Wink" (& Dorothy) Rickus, of Farmington. Also two Grandsons, Anthony Robertson, Jr. & Justin Edward Robertson, both of Hernando, Mississippi.

Doniphan Visitation: Sunday, 5 -8 p.m., Oct. 12th

Doniphan Funeral: Monday, 10 am, Oct. 13th, at Doniphan First Baptist Church.

Farmington Visitation : Monday, 5 - 8 p.m., October 13, 2008 at TAYLOR Funeral Service

Visitation resumes : Tuesday, 6:30 am - 10 am

Graveside Services : Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., October 14th, at Libertyville Christian Cemetery, Libertyville, MO, with Brother David Gillispie officiating.
