Elaine Francis Harbison

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine Francis Harbison on Monday, November 2, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born May 7, 1948, in St. Louis City to the late Emmett and Virgina (Steffan) Anthony.

In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her grandson, Nathaniel Clifton; brother, Joe Anthony; sister-in-law, Cleo Anthony; and niece, Sheila Anthony.

Elaine enjoyed several hobbies like sewing, quilting, and cooking. She was also an avid dog trainer and enjoyed participating in dog shows with her German shepherds and huskies.

Elaine is survived by her children, David (Suzanne) Harbison and Julie Clifton; grandchildren, Austin Clifton and Nevaeh Doyle; brother, Jerry (Dana) Anthony; sister, Loretta Walker; as well as many loving family members and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services are scheduled for November 10, 2026, at C.Z. Boyer and Son—Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown, Missouri. Visitation is set to begin at 11:00 AM and will go until the service time at 1:00 PM where Brother Raymond Michaels is set to officiate. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Fredericktown.
