Elisabeth Besenger

Elisabeth Besenger, 87, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Jefferson City. She was born Wednesday, January 19, 1927 in Lake County, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jack Rab" Besenger; birth parents, Francis and Elizabeth Ullrich; foster parents, Henry and Ople Croghan; one sister and four brothers. Elisabeth is survived by her son, David Besenger of Jefferson City and daughter, Sherry Scott of Little Rock Arkansas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with a service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bob Price officiating.
