Elizabeth "Coonie" Coleman

Elizabeth Fay Coleman, known to many as "Coonie" passed away December 30, 2019 at the Iron County Medical Center at the age of 60 years. She was born October 11, 1959 in Ironton, Missouri the daughter of the late Willard and Pearl (Smith) Racer. On May 22, 1993 she was united in marriage to William Henry Coleman who preceded her in death on November 16, 2016. Elizabeth is survived by three children; Shane Helms of Illinois, Amanda Helms (Ryan Miller) of Lesterville, Missouri, and Matthew Helms (Deanna Orrick) of Ironton, Missouri. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Dennis DePriest and wife, Shirley of Hermann, Missouri, her sister, Cathy Thompson of Ironton, Missouri, and her grandchildren; Blake and Avery Helms, Sidnee Helms, Kimberlynn Nettles, Kaden Helms, Bryleigh Helms and Penelope Helms as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
