Elizabeth Eudy

            Elizabeth Eudy, 98, of Bonne Terre, passed away June 2, 2016, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. She was born March 11, 1918 in Centerville, to the late Andrew and Dora (Barton) Sutton. Elizabeth was a member of the Parkview Freewill Baptist Church in Park Hills. She was known for her sewing and needle work. Elizabeth worked for 16 years as a seamstress at Blouse Factory and in one year, she made almost 40 quilts for Mission in Eastern Kentucky.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore Eudy, Sr.; one son, Theodore Eudy, Jr., two brothers, Leonard and Lonnie Sutton; sisters, Viola Okers, Nola Pennell, and Bernice Wilson; two son in-laws, Joseph Stone and Gordan Yancey.

             Elizabeth is survived by three daughters, Eudora (Mrs. Henry) Stephens, Rose Yancey and Gale Stone; daughter in-law, Connie Eudy; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, June 5, 2016 from

5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held at the Peachtree Baptist Church in Piedmont, Monday, June 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gary Parker officiating and assisted by Pastor Vernon Long. Interment will follow at the Peachtree Cemetery in Piedmont. Memorials may be directed to the Parkview Freewill Baptist Church in Park Hills.
