Elizabeth Ann Klutsarits

Listen to Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family of Elizabeth Ann (Presnell) Klutsarits announces her passing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri. Liz was born on October 1, 1950, to Byron and Jane (Fritz) Presnell, both of whom preceded her in death.

Family was always at the heart of Liz’s life. She took great pride in raising her children and, in later years, found tremendous joy in being a grandmother. She spent countless hours supporting her children and grandchildren cheering them on at their many sporting events. She loved to travel to their ball games, whether near or far and was always up for road trips. Above all, Liz will be remembered for the love and devotion she gave to her family.

Liz also had plenty of things that made her uniquely her. She loved all things Mickey Mouse, was an enthusiastic St. Louis Cardinals fan, and was a proud Democrat.

Growing up in Farmington, Missouri, Liz was a proud member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. After moving to Joplin to live with her daughter, she became a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was also active in organizations that were important to her, serving as president of Promotional Products of the Midwest and of the Mothers of Twins Club. She also spent countless hours working with the Booster Club at McCluer North.

Liz will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Wayne Klutsarits, and her brother, John Presnell.

Liz is survived by her children, Tim (Lisa) Klutsarits, Laura Klutsarits, and Julie (Curtis) Jasper; her grandchildren, Lexi Klutsarits, Joe (Jovi) Jasper, Claire Jasper, John Jasper, and Caleb Jasper; many cousins; her St. Joseph Catholic Church classmates of 1969; her MOTC friends; and many beloved family members and friends.
