Ella Mae Serini

Ella Mae was an active and faithful member of the Cantwell Baptist Church. She started attending in 1960, wanting to be more involved she soon took on the job as church treasurer holding that position for over 30 years. Ella Mae was an avid bowler, she would travel throughout the mid-west competing in tournaments. She was a past area coordinator/organizer for the American Red Cross, and a past board member for the Democrat Central Committee. She loved to watch and cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals, and loved the sport and the excitement of watching NASCAR.

Ella Mae is survived by her daughter, Debra (Russell) Kester; son, Keith Serini; grandchildren, Andrew (Keri) Kester, Cory (Amanda) Serini, Travis (Fiance Chelsea Carr) Serini; great-grandchildren, Landon Serini, Cameron and Ethan Kester; brothers-in-law, Ralph (Barb) Serini, Charlie (Nancy) Serini, Donnie (Linda) Serini; Sisters-in-law, Margie Claunch, Sissy (Bud) Sparks; many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Bob Price officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Cantwell Baptist Church.
