Ellis Edgar Reed

Ellis Edgar Reed of Arcadia, MO passed away January 7, 2014 at the age of 76 years. He was born January 23, 1937 in Minimum, MO the son of the late Noah and Virgie (West) Reed. Ellis is survived by three daughters; Tywillia Uriega of Annapolis, MO, Debra Backus and husband Phil of South Carolina, and Christina Matthews of Fredericktown, MO. Also surviving are his brother, Sherman Reed of Arcadia, seven sisters; Roberta Browers of Ironton, MO, Louise Mieser of Warrensburg, MO, Anise Browers of Ironton, MO, Edith Swinford of Belleview, MO, Patricia Mills of Basehor, KS, Evelyn Nash of Middlebrook, MO, and Karen Hunter of Leasburg, MO, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ellis was preceded in death by three brothers; Vernon Reed, Elzie "Bud" Reed, and Noah Junior Reed, two sisters; Lucille Graham and Irene Kiger, and two son-in-laws, Daniel Uriega and Randy Matthews.
