Elmer Richard Hampton, known to most as "Jack", passed away March 12, 2021 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 93 years. He was born December 3, 1927 in Annapolis, Missouri, the son of the late Harvel and Barbara (Smith) Hampton Sr.
On July 15, 1960 he was united in marriage to Mabel Marie Rush who preceded him in death on May 18, 2005. Jack is survived by two children: Ron Hampton of Milan, Illinois, and Jeannie Salmons (Woody) of Russellville, Missouri. Jack is also survived by a brother: Harvel Hampton Jr. (Cheryl) of Farmington, Missouri, and three sisters: Norma Gantzer of Ocala, Florida, Joyce Dellazizzo of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, and Linda Scaggs (Charles) of Annapolis, Missouri, three grandchildren: Autumn Croxton, Austin Hampton, and Ashton Hampton, and five great grandchildren: Ashlynn, Chloe, Emma, Ella and Brody Croxton as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
