Elmer "Mike" Wagner

Elmer Edward Wagner, known to most as Mike, passed away at his residence on August 4, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 23, 1936, to the late Elmer and Helen (Kamadulski) Wagner. On July 14, 1956, he was united in marriage to Beverly Florence Stege who survives and resides in Ironton, Missouri. Mike is also survived by his daughter, Linda Gudorp (Ken) of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren Kim Compton (Ryan); Michelle Gudorp; his great grandchildren, Hadley, and Hudson Compton, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, Michael William Wagner and his sister, Jacqueline Reinhold. Prior to owning his own company, Mike was a flooring installer. He then started his own flooring company and was the owner of Wagner Floor Company in St. Louis, Missouri from 1977-1996. He was a member of the Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge in Pilot Knob, Missouri.
