Emma Jewel Epley

Emma Epley, 91, of Poplar Bluff, passed away December 16, 2021, at The Manor in Poplar Bluff. She was born March 23, 1930, in Poplar Bluff, to the late Hulen and Jewel (Sloan) Coleman. Emma was a member of the YMCA and a life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #6883.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Emery Coleman and sister, Grace Leach.

Emma is survived by her husband of 71 years, Luther Leon Epley; sons, Larry (Roxanne) Epley and Michael (Crystal) Epley; grandchildren, Joshua (Lori) Epley and Rebekah Fenske; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Elijah, and Landon Epley, Lexi Bierman, Arizona and Gabriel Fenske; brothers, John (Linda) Coleman and Boyd (Nettie) Coleman and sister, Ruth.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
