Erica Lynn Bates

Erica Lynn Bates, formerly of Pilot Knob, passed away December 3, 2014 in Scott City, MO at the age of 22 years. She was born April 29, 1992 in Lafayette, Louisiana the daughter Eric Pippin and Amy Elizabeth Bates. Erica is survived by her parents, Amy Elizabeth Bates of Mineral Point, MO and Eric Pippin of Ironton, MO. In addition to her parents she is survived by her aunt and uncle, Beverly and Steve Myracle of Arcadia, MO, her great uncle and aunt, David and Denise Bates, and her great grandmothers; Martha Pippin and Lorraine Bates as well as cousins, other relatives and friends. Erica was a 2010 graduate of Arcadia Valley High School. She enjoyed reading and going to school. She was working towards a certificate in radiology.
