Estel Belle Findley

Mrs. Estel Belle 'Clayton' Findley passed away January 15, 2004, at her Ashbrook Manor residence, in Farmington, at the age of 87 years, 8 months & 22 days. She was born on April 23, 1916, in Luray, Missouri, to Jesse Monroe Clayton & Cora Belle 'Dooley' Clayton. She was preceded-in-death by: her husband, Leroy William James Findley (Jan. 1999); 1 Sister, Esther Kinder & 2 Brothers; Willis Clayton & Raymond Clayton. Estelle attended Farmington First Assembly of God Church. Survivors Include: 1 SON - James Monroe (& Mary Helen Canterberry) Findley, of Mt. Zion, Illinois; 2 DAUGHTERS: Patricia Ann (Mrs. Darrell E.) Elders, of Poplar Bluff, MO; Marilyn Jean (Mrs. William F.) Elders, of Farmington; 1 BROTHER: Clarence (& Leona) Clayton, of Farmington; 9 GRANDCHILDREN; 23 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; 2 GREAT, GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Madison Audrey Jackson, of Austin, TX & Bobby Lynn Yardley, of Lovington, Illinois. Also surviving are a host of Nieces & Nephews. Visitation started Sat., 5-9 pm, resumed Sunday, 7 am - 9 pm, & continued Monday 7 - 9 am at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL. Visitation resumes Monday, January 19, 2004, at 10 am & funeral services were 11 am, at The Farmington First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Delbert R. Findley; Rev. Roger C. Findley Rev. Hugh Cerutti; Rev. Robert W. Elders & Linda Harsy officiating. Interment follows in the Knob Lick Cemetery - Knob Lick, Missouri. Memorials to: * HospiceCare, Inc. &/or * American Cancer Society.
