Mrs. Ethel G. Shaw passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 14, 2005, in Cape Girardeau, MO., at the age of 92 years, 9 months & 29 days. Ethel was born on August 15, 1912, in St. Francois Co., MO., to Carl & Ada 'Cook' Thomasson. Also preceding in death was: her husband, Glen J. Shaw (Dec. 31, 1999); 2 Brothers: Shelton & Paul Thomasson; 2 Sisters-In-Law: Ruth Moore & Clara Shaw.

Survivors Include: 2 Sons: Carl (& Carol) Shaw, of Cape Girardeau; Don Shaw, of Farmington; 3 Sisters: Velma 'Mrs. Jim' Bates, of St. Louis; Alberta Bannister, of Farmington; Ada 'Mrs. Bob' Turley, of Jackson; Sister-In-Law: Glenna Shaw, of Tulsa, OK; 1 Brother: Carl Joe (& Marion) Thomasson, of Bartlesville, OK; 1 Sister-In-Law: Glenna Shaw, of Tulsa, OK; 3 Grandchildren: Laura 'Mrs. Greg' Asher, of Barnhart; Jeffrey (& Leah) Shaw, of Jackson; Christopher Shaw, of Cape Girardeau; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Aaron; Ian & Evan Asher, of Barnhart; Allyson & Nicholas Shaw, of Jackson.

Mrs. Shaw was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington.

Visitation: Thursday, 5-8 pm. Resuming, Friday at 7:00 a.m..

Funeral: Friday, 11 am, June 17, 2005, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. David Webster officiating.

Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
