Eugene Herbst

Mr. Dennis Eugene Herbst passed away Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2002, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, at the age of 72 years, 1 month & 2 days. Eugene was born on July 20, 1930, in St. Louis, & was the son of Denis & Irene Mary 'Wichman' Herbst. Eugene worked for 43 years for Mississippi Lime Co. & farmed in the community all his life. SURVIVORS INCLUDE : His WIFE - Jean Herbst, of Farmington; 1 DAUGHTER: Katie (& Leeman) Schwent, of Ste. Genevieve; 3 SONS: Denny (& Kristi) Herbst, of Farmington; David (& Laurie) Herbst, of Farmington; Jamie (& Mary) Herbst, of Farmington. 2 SISTERS: Jacqueline 'Mrs. Frank' Helberg, of St. Louis; Doris 'Mrs. Chester' Sloan, of Farmington. 1 BROTHER: Richard Herbst, of Farmington. 11 GRANDCHILDREN: Kassidy & Kaylan Herbst; David Michael, Lindsey & Sam Herbst; Myranda & Nicholas Starkey; Valeria Schwent; Amanda Schlosser; Dennis & Ben Herbst. Visitation Saturday, August 24th, 5-9 pm, resuming Sunday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Sunday, 2:00 p.m., August 25, 2002, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Pastor Herb Conley officiating.
