Eunice Lorraine Edmond, age 83 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Hillcrest Care Center in DeSoto, Missouri. She was born on December 25, 1933 in Corning, Arkansas, a daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Bessie Lee (Snead) Knuckles. .
On November 2, 1977 in Antonia, Missouri she was united in marriage to Vernon Howard "Cowboy" Edmond, he preceded her in death on September 10, 2010. Her parents, one son, Edward Calvent, one daughter - Stanta Fadler; five step children- Larry Edmond, Mike Edmond, Tommy Edmond, Debbie Edmond and Brenda Edmond, five brothers - Russell, Hershel, Nolan, Thomas and Mitt Knuckles, one sister - Jerleanand one grandson David Westoff also precedes her in death.
She is survived by: one son - Steven Chatman of Lawrence, Kansas; one stepson - Randy (Bev) Edmond of Festus, Missouri; one daughter - Sandie (Jim) Mahon of DeSoto; three stepdaughters - Diana Edmond - Pevely, Missouri, Delorse (Steve) LaBoue of DeSoto and Sandy Spruell of DeSoto; eleven grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren; eighteen step grandchildren, fourty one step great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and ten step great-great-grandchildren.
Eunice was owner and operator of Then and Now Antique Store in Fredericktown; she enjoyed quilting, working crossword puzzles, hunting and collecting antiques; she attended the Whitewater Christian Church in the Yount Community.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home. Internment will be in Whitewater Christian Cemetery in the Yount Community.
