Evelyn I Dufur

Evelyn (Schaffer) Dufur passed away February 20, 2017 in Ironton, Missouri at the age of 97 years 1 month, 22 days. She was born in Hannibal, Missouri, daughter to the late Clarence and Carrie (Daniels) Schaffer. Evelyn was united in marriage to Harold Dufur who preceded her in death. To this union two children were born: Terry Dufur of Illinois and Birney Dufur of Arizona. Evelyn is preceded in death by a brother Vansil Schaffer and a sister Mary Louise Bozarth. Evelyn had worked as a salesperson at Stix, Baer, and Fuller Department Store in Saint Louis for over thirty years. She has spent nearly the last 21 years living at The Baptist Home in Ironton and was a member of the Hanley Road Baptist Church.
