Ferne O. Cruse

Mrs. Ferne O. Cruse passed away Dec. 15, 2001, at The Camelot Nursing Center, in Farmington, at the age of 88 years, 9 months & 29 days. She was born Feb. 16, 1913, at Belle Rive, Illinois, & was the daughter of Claud & Leona 'Pickett' Hamblin. Also preceding-in-death was: her husband, C. Edmond Cruse (01.26.1984); & 2 brothers. Ferne was a member of Farmington, Mo., Christian Church & the American Legion Auxillary. She was united in marriage to C. Edmond Cruse Nov. 26, 1931, at McLean, IL. Survivors Include: SON: Edmond W. (& Linda) Cruse, of Farmington; BROTHERS: Homer Halblin, Atlanta, IL; Carl Hamblin, Kenney, IL; Ray Hamblin, Kellogg, ID; Lyle Hamblin, Phoenix, AZ; SISTERS: Edna Beccue, LeRoy, IL; Leona Oberst, Bloomington, IL; Neva Wilson, LeRoy, IL; GRANDCHILDREN: Eric Cruse, Twenty-Nine Palms, CA & Julia Cruse, Farmington, MO. Visitation starts Wednesday, 12 Noon & funeral Wednesday, 1 pm, Dec. 19, 2001, at Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, IL, with Mr. Andy Glass officiating. Interment at Mountjoy Cemetery - rural Atlanta, IL. Memorials to Donor's Preferance.
