Finis Montel Hardy

Finis M. Hardy of Ironton, Missouri passed away May 23, 2016 in Festus, Missouri at the age of 91 years. He was born April 18, 1925 in Ripley, Tennessee the son of the late John and Allie (Wilson) Hardy. On October 9, 1954 he was united in marriage to Frances D. Ray who preceded him in death on May 31, 2009. To this union two children were born; Michael Hardy and wife Carol of Ironton, Missouri and Karen and husband Pete Thompson of Belleville, Illinois. Finis is also survived by four grandchildren; Amie Adams (Josh), Andrew Hardy, Ethan (Ashton) Thompson and Haley Thompson, and six great grandchildren; Maggie, Cate, Paige, Lillie, Annabelle and Ava. Finis was preceded in death by seven brothers; Sam, Alvin, Alton, Louis "Jack", Haywood, John, Woodrow, and nine sisters; Willie Rodgers, Luna Jones, Marie Kolwyck, Dorothy McDermott, Martha Hardy, Francis Hardy, Ethel Hardy, Charlene Hardy and June Hardy.
