Florence J. Berkel

Florence J. Berkel, 93 of OFallon, formerly of Terre Du Lac passed away June 13, 2012 at Garden View Nursing Home in OFallon. She was born October 21, 1918 in St. Louis. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality and Terre Du Lac Owners Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Theresa Viola (Sanders) Staats; daughter, Judy Lee Berkel.Florence is survived by two children, Barbara Gorman and Leonard Berkel; three grandchildren, Christopher (Jill) Gorman, Nancy (Alan) Chazen, Adam Berkel; three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Louis from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PMwith a Funeral Service on Monday at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America ?? Chapter 458. Local arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
