Floyd Jack Collier "Red", age 79, of Desloge, Missouri passed away August 4, 2011 at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.He was born September 16, 1931 in Putnum County, Missouri.He attended theGospel Light Freewill Baptist Church; a member ofLeadington VFW Post 5741 and a veteran of the United States Army.Floyd was preceded by his parents, William and Ollie (Pickens) Collier; brothers, William and Edward Collier; sisters Lucille Collier, Betty Reeves, and Irene GordyHe is survived by his wife, Roberta (Fletcher) Collier of Desloge; sons, Brett Collier and wife Cindy of Farmington, David Collier and wife Donna of Olive Branch, Mississippi; daughter, Tamara (Mrs. Dave Eustis) of Waterloo, Illinois; five grandchildren, Sara Collier, Emma Eustis, Shelby Collier, Lydia Collier, Annie Collier; brothers, Joe Collier and wife Marlene of Barnum Iowa, Lloyd Collier of Ottumwa, Iowa; sisters, Ina Faye West of Unionville, Missouri, Lettie Janes of Lake Station, Indiana.Visitation will be 5:00 PM Friday, August 5, 2011 with a VFW Ceremony at 6 PM in the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapelin Desloge.Service will also be held in the Chapel at1:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2011with Rev. Larry Allison officiating. Internment will be Monday, August 8, 2011 at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa, Iowa.
