Frances Lee Neumann

Frances Lee Neumann, known to most as Fran or Frannie, passed away December 1, 2019 at The Baptist Home at the age of 75 years. She was born November 29, 1944 in East St. Louis, Illinois the daughter of the late Wilbur and Helena (Wrischnik) Weaver. Fran is survived by her son Richard Mordis of Sparta, Illinois, her brother, James Weaver, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Fran was especially close to her grandson Frankie Mordis and his wife, Denise. Fran was preceded in death by two daughters; Ginger Mordis Mooney and Julie Mordis, and her sister, Judith Ann Zarek. Fran was a member of the Heartland Baptist Church in Oakville, Missouri prior to coming to live at The Baptist Home. She was a drill Sargent for the Civil Air Patrol of the United States Air Force. She later worked as a print technician in a portrait studio.
