Frank Arthur Rose, 32, of Bonne Terre passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was born on Friday, March 30, 1990, to Louis “Wayne” and Helen Elizabeth (Schweser) Rose. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Rose, Gilbert and Margaret Schweser; aunt, Janet (Dan) Himebaugh.

Frank loved the Lord and had a personal relationship with Him. He graduated from Kirkwood Community College with his Associates Degree in Parks and Natural Resources. After graduation he worked as the groundskeeper for his parent’s business, Newton KOA RV Park in Newton, Iowa. He also served in the Iowa Conservation Corps. In 2012, he was part of an Earth Watch, Expedition where he researched leopard migration patterns in South Africa.

Frank loved his family; especially his Grandma Rose. Every Tuesday became known as “Tuesday with grandma”, where he would go to her house, do fixit projects, or just simply sit, visit and enjoy her wonderful cooking. He was also a news enthusiast, often sharing the latest world and current events with his family during breakfast. Frank enjoyed cooking and would many times, prepare meals for his family. He had a tender heart for all creatures great and small. He especially enjoyed playing with the family’s pet cats which brought him great joy. Frank will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Frank is survived by his loving parents; siblings, Jenna Rose and Wayne Rose; grandmother, Margaret Rose; aunt and uncles, Arthur (Hollee) Rose, Gordon (Susan) Schweser, Carl (Julie) Schweser, George (Terri) Schweser; cousins, Allison (Peter) Montgomery, Scott Schweser, Samantha (T.C.) Coy, Jamie (Angela) Schweser, Greg (Stephanie) Schweser, Ryan (Megan) Rose and Josh Himebaugh.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Sonrise Baptist Church in Bonne Terre with Pastor Daniel Weyand officiating. Memorials may be made to Farmington Pet Adoption Center. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
