Mrs. Freda "Libby" Wallace passed away early Saturday evening, August 17, 2002, at her Ashbrook Manor residence in Farmington, at the age of 85 years, 4 months & 17 days. Freda was born on March 30, 1917, in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri, & was preceded-in-death by her parents: Hugh & Maggie Lee 'Howelett' Wampler; Her husband, Vernon G. "Casey" Wallace, (March 14, 1987); 1 Sister, Irene Weaver & 4 Brothers: Clifford; Ervin; Sanford & Wes Wampler. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Farmington & a member of Farmington Eastern Star Lodge #430. Eastern Star Lodge Services will be conducted Tue - 7 pm at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL. SURVIVORS INCLUDE : 2 DAUGHTERS: Carol 'Mrs. Alan' Williams, of Bismarck, MO; Connie 'Mrs. Creighton' Cornell, of Columbia, MO; 1 SON: Gary (& Linda) Wallace, of Shelbina, MO; 2 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Velma Wallace, of Ste. Genevieve, MO., & Rhonda Wallace Cruselle, of Atlanta, GA. Also, 6 GRANDCHILDREN; 2 STEP-GRANDCHILDREN & 3 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN. Visitation Tuesday, 5-8 p.m, resuming Wednesday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at 2:00 p.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Dr. David Webster officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials may be made to: * Shriner's Hospital for Children &/or The Safe Harbor Hospice.
