Freddie Ray Sutton, 71 of Sweeny, TX passed away in his home on April 18, 2016. He was born in Arcadia, MO on April 18, 1945. He served in the United States Army Reserves for 8 years; he was a 32 degree mason and a past worthy patron of the Order of the Eastern Star chapter 349 in Ironton, MO. He was a loving husband, father and was a hard worker; a member and deacon of Marble Creek United Baptist Church for many years and later became a member of the First Baptist Church of Shady Acres in Brazoria. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, but most of all he loved being a servant for the Lord. Visitation will be held Wednesday on April 20, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bryson Funeral Home in Pilot Knob, Missouri with his two brothers, Elder Larry Sutton and Elder Mark Sutton officiating on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00pm with a visitation being from 10:00am until 12:00pm.
