Frederick Leroy 'Junior' Steffan

Frederick Steffan "Junior" age 85 passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at his home in Womack, Missouri. He was born on October 29, 1931 in Womack, a son of Frederick Charles and Marie Irene (Dalton) Steffan. On June 2, 1956 in at Silver Point Church in Womack he was united in marriage to Mary Ella Williams, she survives at the home. Other survivors include: one son & daughter-in-law - Rick LeRoy & Sandra Lynn Steffan of Bonne Terre, Missouri; brother - Bill & Mildred Steffan of Fredericktown, Missouri: sisters - Naomi Cartee, Iola (Acy) Ballew and Iona Jarrett all of Womack; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and special niece and nephew Darrell and Jacque. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother - Charles Steffan, an infant granddaughter, and sisters - Verna Cartee, Virginia Anthony, Viola Bellew and an infant sister - Juanita Steffan. Junior was a United States Army Veteran, he enjoyed working on his farm and hunting and fishing. And was a member of Twin Oks Free Will Baptist Church near Fredericktown. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Michael, Pastor Bob Thebeau and Pastor Mike Winick officiating. Interment will be at the Silver Point Cemetery in Womack. Memorial contributions are suggested to Junior Steffan memorial fund. Visitation: Monday, November 14, 2016 3:00 PM
