Gail Lois (Sanders) Behrens, 67, of Bonne Terre passed away February 8, 2018. She was born October 9, 1950 in St. Louis. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Park Hills. Gail was a retired Lutheran school teacher and also taught in the Head Start program in Jefferson County and the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Department as a Deputy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Sanders and Loretta (Ladusaw) Saunders; brother, William Sanders, two sisters, Gloria McGraw and Margie Kloster; son-in-law, Kent Freeman Swart.
Gail is survived by her husband, David Behrens; five daughters, Mandie Swart, Wendy Henderson and husband, Dennis, April Steffen and husband Tommy, Martha Pippin and fiancé John, Christina Millerbaugh and husband Michael; twelve grandchildren, Robert Buschman II (Tera), Baliana Swart, Kiley Swart, Vittoria Haegle (Austin), Ryan Butler, Kristen Butler, Ashlee Birdwell, Jenna May Millerbaugh, Wyatt Millerbaugh, Waylon Millerbaugh, Taris Steffen, Alyssa Steffen; four great-grandchildren, Drake Buschman, Preston Buschman, Raelynn Buschman, Bella Faith Haegele; four sisters, Elnora Treoger, Elizabeth Prater, Edith Ann Fortuna and Etta Janes.
