Gary Lloyd Martin, Sr.

Gary Lloyd Martin, 66, of Jefferson, Ohio, passed away at his home on Monday, April 22, 2024. He was born in Bell Flower, California on Tuesday, October 29, 1957. He was a member of the Solid Rock Family Church. Gary proudly served his country in the United States Navy for over 12 years. He was a graduate of Columbia College with a dual degree in Computer Information Systems and Accounting. A devoted Christian, Gary’s faith was a cornerstone of his existence. His love for the lord radiated through his actions and interactions with others. He embraced every moment with this family, cherishing the times spent with his wife, finding joy in the simplicity of life, often embarking on camping trips, fishing excursions, and leisurely road trips with his loved ones. As someone who always seemed to have more items on his checklist then time allowed, he found solace in taking naps. He had a tender heart for animals, although Sci-Fi and action movies were his favorites, he had shared moments of laughter watching Soap Operas with his beloved wife.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Wesley Martin and Mary Helen (Goodwin) Madden; In laws, William and Mary Ann (Creely) Salsman; Daughter, Heather Martin; siblings, Linda, Diane and Tom; sister-in-law, Eleanor Johns.
