Gary Thomas James

             Gary Thomas James, age 30, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on Sunday, October 27, 1991, in St. Louis to Kevin James Sr. and the late Rhonda Allen-Battreal  Gary was a member of Sonrise Baptist Church in Bonne Terre. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, camping and loving every day. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, wife, family and friends who will miss him dearly. 

             Gary is survived by his loving wife Taylor Shomaker-James; five beloved children, Heaven Lee Hope, Luke Arthur, Melayla Raylynn ,Cierra Lynn and Jase Ayden; father, Kevin James, Sr. and wife Angie; siblings, Johana Layton and husband Joseph, Heather Lange, Dawnita Bryant and husband Dustin, Crystal Watkins and husband Carl, Kevin James, Jr., Timothy James and Chriss Battreal and wife Michele; grandparents, Gene and Sue James, Bill Odem; fur babies, Logan and Millie; along with other family and friends.   

             Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM until service time of 2:00 PM with Pastor Daniel Weyand officiating. In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorials be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
