George Heim, Jr.

            George Heim, 79, of Bonne Terre, passed away November 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1939, in St. Louis, to the late George Heim, Sr. and Helen (Smith) Spiller. George was of Lutheran faith and was a member of the Teamsters Union as well as Fraternal Order of Eagles in Bonne Terre. He made lots of jewelry, loved welding, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and making people laugh.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; brother in infancy and two sisters.

            George is survived by his loving wife, Geri (Edmond) Heim; children, Bob Heim and wife Chris, Georgiann Nichols and husband Kelly, Yvette Heim, George Heim, and Jeannie; fifteen grandchildren, Joey, Justin, Jordan, Cody, Tyler, Gerilynn, Jennifer, Brandon, Tony, Rusty, Chrissy, Ben, Sam, Asa, and Jessie; twenty-eight great-grandchildren, Jase, Raven, Charity, Justin Jr., Josclyn, Jade, Camryn, Kennley, Hollie, Allie, Gwyn, Wyatt, Charlotte, Chandler, Aubrey, Auriella, Cheyenne, Kenny, Alexa, Brayden, Conner, Logan, Caleb, Brianna, Leann, Jayce, Payton, and Tristen; sister, Lissie Mabry; numerous family and friends also survive.           

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, November 25, 2018, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume Monday, November 26, 2018, in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel at 9:00 AM until service time at 12:30 PM.   Interment will follow at Whitewater Cemetery in Perry County. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in care of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home.
