George "Mike" Michael Williams Sr.

George Michael “Mike” Williams, Sr. 73, of Farmington, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023. He was born Sunday, May 14, 1950, in Bonne Terre, to the late Thomas J. and Nellie R. (Center) Williams. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army and served time in Vietnam. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Farmington. Mike enjoyed reading and learning about history, also by participating in civil war re-enactments, he was an avid baseball fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees, his love for his family was most important to him as well as for his German Shepherd Lily.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother John Center.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Stephanie (Pierce) Williams of 53 years; two children, Julie Irvin and husband Brian and George “Michael” Williams and wife Beth; six grandchildren, Connor and wife Ashley, Elijah, Emma, Maya, Abraham, and Henry; siblings, Delores (Steve) Asiedu and Thomas (Kelly) Williams, Jr.; sister in-law, Alicia Pierce. Mike will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 10:00 AM until service time of 12:00 PM. with Pastor Roger Hogan officiating, Burial with full military honors will follow at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers or Wounded Warriors.
