Georgia Alice Steinke

Mrs. Georgia Alice 'Gordon' Steinke passed away early Tuesday morning, Nov. 4, 2003, at her Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 97 years, 7 months & 22 days. Georgia was born on March 12, 1906, in Anna, ILL., & was the daughter of John C. Gordon & Rosella 'Barringer' Gordon. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Harold Emil Steinke (Sept. 1975); 2 Daughters, Carol Geno & Jean Wesche; 1 Brother: Malby Gordon & 4 Sisters: Sybil Lowrance; Myra Karraker; Dee Hewitt & Reba Gordon, in-infancy. Georgia was a member of the Missouri Synod, Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 1 Daughter, Barbara "Bobbi" (Mrs. Dr. A.G.) Karraker, of Farmington; 1 Brother, Ralph Gordon, of South Carolina; 7 Grandchildren & 13 Great-Grandchildren. Private family funeral services will be conducted at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dave Wesche officiating.
