Georgia Fern Boland

Georgia Fern Boland, age 88 of Overland, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on January 26, 1933 in Hartshorn, Missouri, a daughter of George W. and Arvilla (Edgmond) Brown. On April 16, 1955 in Hernando, Mississippi she was united in marriage to Gerald Amos Boland, he preceded her in death on November 29, 1997. In addition to her husband she is preceded by her parents, daughter – Brenda Boland, brothers – Norman, Ervin, Earl, Kenneth and Denver Brown and sister – Margie Heiney. Those surviving include her two children – Darrell (Susan) Boland Sr. and Donna Boland both of St. Louis; two brothers – James Brown of Bland, Missouri and Lonnie Brown of Cuba, Missouri; one sister – Thelma Briggs of Hartshorn, Missouri; four grandchildren – Darrell Boland Jr., Ashley Schuler, Kimalea Boland and Christopher Perales and seven great grandchildren. Georgia had worked for Bardenkiher Wine Co. in St. Louis; she enjoyed games with her grandchildren such as solitaire, dominos and scrabble. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in St. Louis. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, June 7, 2021 also at Wilson Funeral Home with interment at Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown. Condolences may be posted on this website.
