Georgia Will Lawson

Mrs. Georgia Will (Lanius) Lawson, wife of the late Floyd Ewell Lawson, Sr., a devoted & loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Christian, dearly departed us on Jan. 21, 2003. She was born Sept. 14, 1918, in Paris, TN., to Isaac Henry & Lucy 'Hall' Lanius. Also preceding were: her husband, Floyd Ewell Lawson, Sr., (June 9, 1988); Sister, Dessie Mae Clary Holliday; 6 Brothers: L. D., Howard, Robert, Clyde, James & Doris Lanius, also, 2 Daughters-In-Law: Diane 'Steinbach' Lawson & Betty 'Whelehon' Lawson. Georgia was secretary of Washita Baptist Church for many years before retiring & a dedicated supporter of what the church has become today ! SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 4 SONS: Floyd E. (& Dian Dickson) Lawson, Paris, MO; M. David (& Celeste Cass) Lawson, Los Angeles, CA; Thomas R. Lawson, Farmington; Gary W. Visitation Thurs., 6-9 p.m., Fri., 7 am - 9 pm & resuming Sat., 7 am. Funeral Sat., 11 am, Jan. 25, 2003, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Interment, Adams Cemetery, Bonne Terre. Memorials: Washita Baptist Church.
