Ginard Rehkop

Ginard Rehkop of Patton, formerly of Desloge, passed away September 17, 2010 at the age of 82. Mr. Rehkop was born February 1, 1928 in Cantwell, Missouri. He was the son of the late Homer and Edith Richardson Rehkop. He was also preceeded in death by two sisters; Ruby Proctor and Verna Faye Cross.Surviving are his wife Norma Jean Henderson Rehkop of Patton, one son T. G. Rehkop and wife Barbara, one daughter Pam Rehkop and husband Ernie Kam.Granddaughter: Becky Hobart and husband Robert.Two sisters: Hilda Pratte of Virginia, Wilma Jester of Florida; one brother Harold Dean Rehkop of St. Charles.Also a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.Ginard had retired from Wetterau Non Foods where he was the warehouse manager. He enjoyed horseshoe pitching and attended many tournaments.Mr. Rehkop will be in state at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Saturday September 18, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Boyer Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will be at eh St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Home of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
