Glen Anne Ragsdale

          Glen Anne Ragsdale, 67, of Bonne Terre, passed away February 10, 2021 at her home, surrounded by family and friends.  She was born September 23, 1953, in Bonne Terre, to the late William “Red” and Thelma (Hulsey) Basler.  She enjoyed fishing, floral arranging, baking and cooking.  Glen Anne was of Catholic faith and she loved helping the youth around her neighborhood, which was also shown in her help with the Boy Scouts as troop master.  Her family enjoyed her storytelling as she was the creator of the “Doodle Bug” story. 

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Ragsdale; siblings, Tim Basler and Lisa Kalawaia.

          Glen Anne is survived by two sons, Jerrod Ragsdale and wife Brittany, and Jeffrey Ragsdale; grandchildren, Tyson Holifield, Fynn Mitchell, Emmersyn Mitchell; siblings, Francis (Sherry) Basler, Brownie (Mike) Conway; many nieces and nephews also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.  The visitation will resume, Monday, February 15, 2021, in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel at 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.  Jared Gamblin will be officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.  The service can also be viewed on the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home Facebook page, live on Monday at 11:00 AM or at a later date.
