Glen Hargiss

         Glen Hargiss, 75, of Park Hills passed away May 27, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis due to result of an automobile accident.  He was born on July 10, 1941 in Park Hills to the late Glenwood and Bernice (Gibson) Hargiss. Glen was also preceded in death by an infant brother; father and mother in law, Glenwood and Alberta Jarrell.  Glen was a member of the Elvins Ionic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, Ironworkers Local #396, and the Mineral Area Elks.

            He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Elizabeth “Liz” (Jarrell) Hargiss; children, Tony (Linda) Hargiss and Bryan (Lynn) Hargiss; grandchildren, Jessica Hargiss, Crystal ( Talon) Turner , Will, Jacob and Paige Hargiss; brothers, Harold (Mary) Hargiss and Bill (Barbara) Hargiss and two sisters, Carolyn (Charles) Ransom and Connie Hargiss-Baskin

            Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Masonic Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Tim Morgan officiating with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.  Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Heritage Foundation with the Missouri Dept. of Conservation.
