Glen Penfield, age 66, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Friday, August 28, 1959, in Bridgeton, New Jersey to the late Glen Albert and Katharine “Kay” (Earnest) Penfield, Sr.

In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Cassidy; first wife, Diana Penfield and his beloved dog Pip.

Glen spent his career as a foreman at Piramal Glass in Park Hills. After retiring, he devoted his time to his family and his cherished farm in Farmington, where he found great fulfillment tending to the cows. He was a member of Meadow Heights Church in Fredericktown and was a former volunteer fireman with the Wolf Creek Fire Department, exemplifying his dedication to serving others. 

Glen’s happiest moments were often spent camping with his family at Big Creek RV Park in Annapolis, which he lovingly referred to as his "Happy Place." These camping trips were a testament to his love of adventure and the great outdoors, moments filled with laughter, storytelling, and the simple joy of being together. 

Glen is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Fishbeck) Penfield; his children, Jennifer Crawford and fiancé Allen Miller, John (Christy) Penfield, Melissa (Eric)Trautman, Angie (Shane) Cruzan, and James (Sarah) Larenson; his sister, Kay (Randy Sr.) Knox; and his brother, David (Tina) Penfield; 11 cherished grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home-Taylor Chapel from 3:00 PM until Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM.
