Glenn W. Thomas

Mr. Glenn W. Thomas passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at Community Manor, Farmington, at the age of 84 years, 6 months & 2 days. Glenn was born March 20, 1925, and was the son of Basil Thomas and Goldie 'Tawfall' Thomas. Also preceding in death were: 2 Sisters, Ruth Stacy & Lois Anderson; 3 Brothers: Earl Elmer Thomas; Wendell Cleo Thomas & Donald Wayne Thomas.

Glenn was: * the longest surviving member of the Farmington Christian Church; * he was a US Air Force Veteran of World War II and a member of LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416 of Farmington; * he was united in marriage to Doris F. Kocher, in Farmington, on March 15, 1952.

Survivors Include : his wife, Doris F. 'Kocher' Thomas, of Farmington; 3 Daughters: Carol Jane Thurman, of Farmington; Donna Kay Thomas, of Farmington; Mary Lou & Doug Thomas Harris, of Tulsa, OK. 1 Son: Terry Duane (& Cheryl) Thomas, of St. Louis. 5 Grandchildren: Kimberly & Greg Stewart; Leah Marie Thomas; Dillon Jeffery Thomas; Maxwell Thomas Harris & Brianna Elizabeth Harris. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Lauren Elizabeth Stewart & Austin Gregory Stewart. Also, several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Friday, 4-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday at 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., September 26, 2009

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Dale Berck officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
