Glenwood Calvin Martin

Glenwood Calvin Martin, age 93 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown. He was born on December 29, 1930, in Yount, Missouri to Benjamin and Irene (Ballwin) Martin.

On May 12, 1951, in Pocahontas, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Virginia Lou Martin, she preceded him in death on September 29, 2012.

He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law – Marsha & Joe Hutchison of Perryville, Missouri; granddaughter – Heather Zeleny and husband Chris of Farmington; great granddaughter – Shailah Zeleny of Farmington; sisters – Wanda Maze and Shirley Cotton both of Fredericktown.

In addition to his wife, Virginia, he is preceded in death by one brother – Ben Martin.

Glenwood had worked at Mississippi Lime Co. in St. Genevieve, Missouri; he enjoyed gardening and listening to music; he attended the Cowboy Church in Fredericktown.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Bess officiating.

Interment will be at Libertyville Christian Church near Farmington, Missouri.
