Gloria Adella Gardner

Gloria Adella Gardner of Ironton, MO passed away May 3, 2013 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 88 years. She was born August 5, 1924 in Roselle, MO the daughter of John Theodore "Louie" and Maggie Mae (Myracle) Dettmer. On August 16, 1945, she was united in marriage to Garrell Gardner who preceded her in death on April 18, 1997. To this union two children were born; Gary and wife Carla Gardner of Ironton, MO and Gail Woods of Pilot Knob, MO. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Andrea Maddox and husband Jason, Kristen Duncan and husband Josh, Kendra Reid and husband Chris, Kara Gardner, and Grant Gardner and wife Kelsey, five great grandchildren (one more on the way), a sister-in-law, Patricia Dettmer, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Gloria was preceded in death by five brothers; Rile, Ellston, John, Langdon, and Clyde Dettmer and a sister, Eula "Billie" Bohac.
