Golda Williams

            Golda Williams, 81, of Park Hills, passed away May 2, 2017 at her home. She was born November 9, 1935, in Leadwood, to the late Charles and Essie (Pierce) Overstreet. Golda attended the Pentecostal Church in Potosi. 

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Williams; sister, Edna Williams; brother, Jackie Overstreet; grandson, Steve Stark; and great-grandson, Brandon Stark. 

            Golda is survived by sons, Howard Wayne (Avonne) Williams, Donald Lee (Judy Gibson) Williams, and Rev. Charles Melvin (Paula) Williams, Jr.; daughters, Rhonda (Robert) Morgan, Verna Jean (Lonnie) Prior, Ramona Kay (Rodney) Oneail; twenty one grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point.
