Mrs. Goldie Lewis

Goldie Mae Lewis of Bloomsdale, MO passed away December 27, 2013 in Fayetteville, NC at the age of 76 years. She was born April 15, 1937 in Chloride, MO the daughter of Ernest and Dollie Mae (Dunn) Henson. On July 17, 1953 she was united in marriage to Charles James Lewis who preceded her in death on June 23, 2010. To this union eight children were born; Steven James Lewis of Bonne Terre, MO, Charles "Ray" and wife Linda Lewis of Middlebrook, MO, Kathy and husband John Penrose of Fayetteville, NC, Jeffrey and wife Tammy Lewis of Bloomsdale, MO, Audie and wife Doreen Lewis of Fort Myers, FL, Debra and husband Kris Vos of Dyer, IN, Brenda and husband Troy Pochon of Fayetteville, NC, and Johnnie and wife Dawn Lewis of DeSoto, MO. In addition to her children Goldie is survived by her sister Virgie (Frank) Atkinson of Dauphin Island, AL, thirty-two grandchildren, and thirty-eight great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
