Grace Elaine Degonia

Grace Elaine DeGonia, age 66, of Bonne Terre passed away December 28, 2020, at her residence. She was born October 8, 1954, in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Grace was a member of Assembly of God Church in Boss, Missouri.

Grace was preceded in death by her father, Earl Sumpter; mother, Mary (Meade) Sellers; son, James “Baby Jimmy” Martin, Jr.; brother, Lindell Sumpter.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Martin (John Horst); sons, Michael and wife Shannon Martin and Landon Scott Martin, David and Danna DeGonia, Douglas DeGonia, Derrick and Chelly DeGonia; grandchildren, Meagan Braun, Michael Braun, Corey Cain, Kalynn Martin, Lexi Green, Landon Martin, Dakota, Brayden, Isaac, Kailee, Corrine, Stephanie, Maddy, Bristol, Brison; and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Ron Sumpter and Rosa Holland; stepfather, Homer Sellers; and many other family and friends.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 10 am until noon at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre followed by a 2 pm graveside service at Boss Cemetery in Boss, Missouri. Facemasks or coverings are required before entering building.
