Gwendola "Fay" Pinkston

Fay Pinkston, 90, of Farmington passed away November 24, 2022, at Presbyterian Manor. She was born November 8, 1932, in Bonne Terre to the late Walter Raymond and Elba Gwendolyn (McCord) Weiler. Fay was a member of Little Vine Baptist Church. She was a retiree with the Fox School District, where she was the head cook.  She continued her love to cook after retirement, along with her husband they spent many weekends traveling and camping.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Norman Pinkston; sisters, Madonna Pinkston, Norma Shearin; and brothers, Raymond Weiler, Walter Weiler, Jr.

Fay is survived by her son Charles Dennis Pinkston and wife, Christina; two grandchildren, Katherine Annis and husband, Gregory, Adam Pinkston and wife, Krystle; 2 great-grandchildren, Liam Annis and Sophie Pinkston, with one due to be born very soon.   

Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington with Chaplain Bob Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Little Vine Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Little Vine Cemetery Fund.
