Hank Cartee

   Henry "Hank" Cartee, age, 84, of Cross, South Carolina, a former sheet metal worker superintendent passed away October 6, 2022.  Hank was born on November 21, 1937, in Elvins to the late Jesse L. and Velma Mable Cartee.  Hank was an Air Force Veteran during the Korean Conflict and then went on to become a sheet metal worker in 1982.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Eugene Cartee, Jack Cartee, Clark Cartee and James Cartee and sister, Lillian Shipley.

       Hank is survived by his loving wife of 41years, Barbara Jean Cartee; daughter, Lois Bradshaw and husband David; two sons, Henry “Hal” Cartee, Jr. and wife Janet and Gregory E. Cartee; two grandchildren, Rachel Bradshaw-Dykes and husband Cameron, Brandon Cartee; one great-grandson, Dawson Dykes; brother, Gary Cartee and wife Diane; four sisters, Joan Henson, Faye Darnell and husband Bob, Sue Burns and Paula Bishop; two special friends, Jeanne Leya and Sonny Peagler. Henry loved animals and leaves behind his beloved dog Shadow.

        Graveside memorial will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Oddfellows Cemetery in Park Hills. Friends and family will go in procession from C. Z.
