Hannah G. Penfield

Mrs. Hannah Penfield passed away Monday afternoon, August 31, 2009, at her rural Farmington residence, at the age of 91 years & 15 days. Hannah was born on August 16, 1918. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, William Glen Penfield, (April 25, 1999).; 1 Sister, Sarah & 1 Brother, Edward Griffith.

Hannah moved to Farmington in late 1996. She was a former Personnel Director for Hunt-Wesson Foods. Hannah was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Farmington. She was a member for many years & Senior Warden at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Hannah was very active in her church & used to bowl in the Bowling Leagues in New Jersey.

Survivors Include : her son, Glen A. (& Katharine) Penfield, Sr., of Farmington; Grandchildren: Glen (& Mary) Penfield, Jr., of Farmington; Kay 'Mrs. Randy' Knox, of Farmington; David (& Tina) Penfield, of Farmington. 10 Great-Grandchildren, including, Christina & Randy Knox, of Farmington; Jennifer; John & Loriann Penfield, of Farmington. Also surviving are 14 Great, Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation was held: Wednesday 1:00 p.m.

Funeral was held: Wednesday 2:00 p.m., September 9, 2009.

at: Freitag Funeral Home Chapel, Bridgeton, New Jersey.

Interment followed at: Memorial Park Cemetery, Hopewell, New Jersey.
