Harry Moyers "Butch"

Harry Eugene Moyers Jr., "Butch", age 84 passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at his home in Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on June 12, 1940, in Fredericktown to Harry Eugene Sr. and Edna Leola (McDaniel) Moyers.

On September 25, 1965, at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois, he was united in marriage to Sandra Earlene Hankins, she survives at the home.

Other survivors include his two sons – Dwayne (Debra) Moyers of Elberton, Georgia and Harry L. Moyers of Vancouver, Canada; one daughter – Teresa (Robert Lee) Reid also of Vancouver, Canada; one sister – Grace Thomas of Fredericktown; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Harry was a retired United States Air Force Veteran; after retirement he worked as night manager of K-Mart in Athens, Georgia; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching college football and baseball; he was a member of Calvary Church in Fredericktown.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Sawyer officiating.

Interment will be at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown with full military honors.
