Hattie Hulsey

Hattie Hulsey, 81, of Desloge, passed away, June 24, 2015 at St. Claire Hospital in Fenton. She was born November 3, 1933, to the late Ernest E. and Lillie (Carter) Rosa. She was a member of the Eastern Star, VFW auxiliary in Arnold, and former member of Ellington Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Hulsey; brothers, Winford, Donald Ray, Ivon, Lester, Doyle, and John Rosa. Hattie is survived by her two daughters, Vickie (Don) Kassabaum, Dee Dee (Mike) Tune; four grandchildren, Angela (Roger) Zacher, Kara Bennett, Mathew (April) Helms, and Michael Lincoln; thirteen great-grandchildren; 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy (Betty) Rosa, Woodrow (Betty) Rosa; two sisters, Lela Baker, and Pauline (Bernie) Bales; numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-inlaw also survive. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with an Eastern Star service at 7:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Memorials may be directed to Kidney Foundation of Muscular Dystrophy.
